Privacy Policy

At Klauz, we care about your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you use our service, how we use it, and your rights. It is prepared in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, where applicable, Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).
1. Data Controller
The service is operated individually under the Klauz brand. For questions regarding the data controller, contact support@klauz.app.
2. Data We Collect
To provide the service, we collect:
- Account information: Email address, full name (optional), password (stored encrypted).
- Uploaded contracts: PDF files you upload for analysis and the text extracted from them.
- Analysis results: Risk scores, identified clauses, and recommendations.
- Usage data: Number of analyses, session info, IP address, browser type.
- Payment information: Payments are processed via Lemon Squeezy; we do not store your card details.
3. How We Use Data
- To provide contract analysis and show you the results.
- To manage your account and authenticate you.
- To handle subscriptions and payments.
- To improve the service, detect errors, and ensure security.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
4. Service Providers (Data Processors)
We use the following third-party providers to deliver the service. Your data may be processed on their servers:
- Supabase — Database and file storage (US/EU).
- Vercel — Application hosting (US).
- DeepSeek — AI analysis of contract text (China). The contract text you upload is sent to this provider for analysis.
- Lemon Squeezy — Payment processing and billing (US).
- Sentry — Error monitoring (US). Personal data transmission is disabled.
International data transfers are made only to the extent necessary to provide the service and, where required, based on your explicit consent. In particular, contract text is transferred to DeepSeek's infrastructure located outside your country for analysis.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Contracts you upload and their analysis results are automatically deleted based on the period set in your account settings (after a certain number of days by default). When you delete your account, your contracts, analyses, and personal data are permanently removed from our systems, and any active subscription is cancelled.
6. Your Rights (GDPR / KVKK Art. 11)
You have the right to:
- Know whether your personal data is being processed.
- Request information about such processing.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Request a copy of your data (portability).
- Object to processing and withdraw your consent.
To exercise these rights, contact support@klauz.app. We respond to requests as soon as possible and within legal time limits.
7. Security
We use encryption, access control, and secure infrastructure providers to protect your data. However, no internet service is 100% secure; we recommend using a strong password.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes. The current version is always available on this page.
