About
Last updated: June 2026
Klauz is an artificial intelligence tool that helps you spot risky clauses in your contracts before you sign them. Reading legal documents is intimidating, time-consuming, and often expensive — we are trying to make this process accessible to everyone.
What we believe
Understanding what you are saying "yes" to when signing a contract is a fundamental right. Legal fees, complex legal language, and time pressure often turn this right into a luxury. Freelancers, small businesses, people signing leases — everyone has to sign documents they do not fully understand every day.
We do not believe AI will replace lawyers. But we believe there can be a way to read a contract more consciously before going to a lawyer. Klauz does exactly this: it prepares you by providing a preliminary analysis in minutes.
What we do
Risk analysis
Upload your PDF contract; AI reviews clauses one by one, determines risk levels, and explains what it finds risky and why.
Concrete suggestions
Not abstract warnings; suggestions on what to change and how for each risky clause — sometimes with rewritten alternative text.
Turkish and English
We analyze your contract in whichever language you upload it in. Works at the same quality for Turkish and international documents.
Data privacy
Your contracts are stored encrypted, only you can see them. Automatically deleted after 30 days. KVKK and GDPR compliant.
What we don't do
Klauz is not a legal advice service. It is not a replacement for a lawyer. We want you to be aware of the following limits:
- AI can make mistakes. It may misinterpret a clause, flag a non-existent risk, or miss a real one. Our outputs are a starting point, not the final word.
- Consult a lawyer for important decisions. For high-value employment contracts, sales agreements, corporate deals, and documents with serious consequences, we recommend getting professional legal support.
- Local jurisprudence is limited. The AI may not always correctly interpret every nuance of local legislation such as the Turkish Code of Obligations or Consumer Protection Law.
